Melissa you have great parents…I’m not sure if I would have let my 26 year old back…LOL!

For me it’s staying in my office and working with a schedule that I’ve designed. I know that doesn’t seem like much, but it is when I’m the kind of person that would rather not stay in my office on a beautiful day.

It’s all pay off though, each day working towards my goals!
    Thanks for sharing your story!

    Hi Melissa,

Sacrifices are definitely necessary to make it work.

My sacrifice is not seeing immediate results, but I am believing every day that my actions are planting seeds and will soon see results – so I guess I’m sacrificing my need for instant gratification. :)

    Great post, thanks for sharing.

    Hello Melissa,

Love your blog you have going on here and your sub title “Giving Networkers a Swift Kick In The Pants”.

Something we all need from time to time for sure…

As for me and Sacrifices…I made a promise 12 years ago to myself that I would never quit until I got to where I wanted to be in life through Network Marketing.

Although I failed at it for 11 years I never quit and learned so much in the whole process and at the same time becoming a better person…That is the real value this business can do for anyone.

Never give up on your dreams in life and never never let anyone stop you from reaching them :)

Today its year 12 and things are rockin! And its all because I refused to quit my promise I made to myself 12 years ago…

    Wishing you all my best!

    Melissa,

    the video doesn’t play.

I have made sacrifices to run my business and it wasn’t working although I sacrificed.
Then I realized that the sacrifices are not the answer to make it work.
The answer is to tune in to the universal laws of nature and to participate in the flow of energy in both giving and receiving.

Looking forward to hear you when the video works,
    Venus :)

This goddess is soooo not into sacrifice! However, Delayed Gratification is something that I fully understand but it’s hard to come by these days and even harder to teach.
Yes, we have to ‘give things up’ on the road to our dreams, but maybe we shouldn’t focus on those things, but rather the great vision that we’re working towards – that freedom from a job; that 5 figure income – whatever it is, if it’s Big enough and Clear enough, even a curfew won’t dampen your enthusiasm.

Hey, since both my kids are still living with me – there’s hope that they’ll also build their own empire someday!

I’ve sacrificed a LOT of time, money and sleep in building my blog. I’m not there yet but I’m seeing some results little by little. No worries, just here to learn and enjoy the journey and discover what’s in store for me and my sacrifices along the way :-)

I have to admit I wouldn’t move back in with my parents. But you obviously make it work for you. The quote that I always remember is “if you think you are so enlightened, go spend a weekend with your parents”.
I am not so sure I am willing to sacrifice, which is why I haven’t gotten the results that I dream of! Perhaps thinking of it in a different light of not giving up but what I would gain from it. Working on that one!

Gosh Melissa, you are so wise beyond your years! I love what you said in your video about paying the price of discipline or paying the price of regret. Discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons, as our good friend and mentor, Jim Rohn used to say.

Congratulations on all of your incredible success! And congratulations on paying the price! I am so inspired by your story! For me, I paid the price of 3 hrs less sleep each day to work my home based business, then continued to work my 14 hr/day job, while married and having an 8 year old son. It was tough, however, as you have said totally worth it!
Thank you so much for sharing.

    Much love & gratitude,
    Kellie :)

Bravo! I love the sacrifice. After all it is not a sacrifice if it does not cost you something..

I have been giving up sleep as well as hobby type activites that I have done most of my life. early morning and late night until I actually crash to where I can’t get up or fall asleep over the pc.

AS brought out by Young and Fabulous the journey is part of the ride to success and my mindset is that of long term growth, not being desparate to gain but eager to give.

    Hi Melissa,

That is really awesome! The experience must
    of been priceless.

I have been in the business for three years and
things are starting to turn around and it took
some major sacrifices on my end.

My changes were of very recently, since I still work
    full-time, have a wife and 2 kids & a business.

I cut my business time back because I was wasting too
much time and not using it wisely. This took away from
    family time.

    Thanks for the great video.

    Have a great weekend Melissa!
